Hungarian farmers are becoming more and more open to high-tech developments for efficiency.
The Conference entitled Smart Agriculture and Digitized Food Industry was held by the iFood Food Cluster, the innomine DIH and the National Agricultural Chamber on the Kaposvár Campus of Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences on 31.05.2022.
Hungarian farmers are becoming more and more open to high-tech developments in order to improve the efficiency of their daily work, said a rapporteur. There was sought the answer to the question of how well farmers know and use the potential of digitization and what conclusions and results they can draw from the resulting data.
Gábor Berkovich, managing director of Seacon Europe, gave a presentation entitled "Do you know what you eat?" - Or the way of our food from plough to plate. Those present and those who attended the conference online could learn that transparency in the origin and history of food integration along the slogan "from plough to plate" is becoming an increasingly demand. Agricultural actors and food producers together with other logistics actors must provide complex solutions, which also require increasing availability from the actors of trade, public authorities and end-users. These needs are becoming increasingly difficult to meet without the connecting IoT devices with mobile technologies and information generated by individual actors. Seacon Europe's cloud-based target software QST provides a technical solution to this problem. The software’s developers have decades of experience in the relevant field.
