KEY RISK INDICATORS IN THE MUSEUM: International workshop of the Museion project entitled „Understanding and controlling the environmental quality in museums through IoT” on the conference

A pilot project that exploits the synergy between conservation science and IT is hosted by the National Museum of Romanian Literature who offered two of its Memorial Houses as pilot study for this applied research project funded within Eureka Network Programme. A new approach to museum monitoring in time of climate changing.

The workshop organized by ICPI in the ICAMS conference covered several professional topics:

• Characteristics of the collections hosted by the Memorial Houses “Ion Minulescu” and “Liviu Rebreanu” of the National Museum of Romanian Literature, and their peculiar environmental requirements
• Technical aspects of the system implemented in the MUSEION project
• Key Risk Indicators (KRI) concept and Indoor Air Quality Index (IAQ index) calculation
• Supporting IAQ analysis and visualization based on real measurements

In addition to all this, the Q&A section also raised business-related questions about the conditions of use of the product on the customer side

Among the invited experts were relevant professionals from regional and national level museums of the partner countries and other foreign stakeholders, especially the institutions that participated in the APACHE project implemented with EU support on a similar topic.

The National Research and Development Institute for Textiles and Leather (INCDTP) Leather and Footwear Research Institute (ICPI) Bucharest, Romania announces The 9th International Conference on Advanced Materials and Systems ICAMS 2022 - to be held in Bucharest, Romania, on October 26th-28th, 2022.

Within the framework of the conference, on October 26, the partners of the international Museion project will organize an online workshop entitled

"Understanding and monitoring the quality of the environment in museums using IoT technology",

 where representatives of the profession and technology are warmly welcomed.

At the event, the partners will present the project, the memorial house environment that accommodates research, the measurement technique used, the professional concept of the measurements, and the data analysis or vusialization methods.

After the presentations, we will organize an informal discussion for the attendees about the details of the solution and implementation.

The 9th International Conference on Advanced Materials and Systems (ICAMS 2022) is going to be another major international conference held in the South-Eastern region of Europe, in the area of Materials Science. ICAMS 2022 intends to bring together eminent scientists, technologists and young researchers from several disciplines across the globe to provide a common platform for discussing their achievements and newest directions of research. The ICAMS 2022 conference is focused on Advanced Materials and Systems and recent developments in material science and technology, covering fields from theory and experiment to industrial practice. The scientific program will consist of plenary sessions, invited talks, oral and poster presentations.

ICAMS 2022 Topics have been reviewed in an effort to listen to the current needs of both industries and science and create an even more appealing, interesting and riveting program.

SmartGeoFish Knowledge Sharing Workshop

Objectives of the workshop

SmartGeoFish Knowledge Sharing Workshop aimed to present good practices from the agri-food sector to inspire future collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. We extended the scope of the workshop from the aquaculture to the agri-food sector to be more in line with the SmartAgriHubs project objectives.

Summary of the event

At the beginning of the Knowledge Sharing Workshop, Zsófia Kertész (Campden BRI Hungary as DIH) welcomed the participants and presented SmartAgriHubs and the opportunities the projet offered to the agri-food sector.

Then, our invited speaker, Dr Miklós Csikai (president of Árpád-Agrár Zrt) had his presentation on the capabilities and opportunities the region of Szentes can offer to farmers. He empahised that the sustainable production and mutual collaboration between stakeholders are the key to overcome such challenging time like this.

The next presenter was Attila Berczeli (Campden BRI Hungary as DIH) to introduce the SmartGeoFish technology concept development approach and its adaptability to other agi-food sectors. Success sotries were presented from previous expereince.

István Pokó, Valéria Tálai and László Dvorszky from Seacon Europe Kft highlighted the importance of digitalization in aquaculture by presenting the developed systems in details.

The event ended with a presentation of Orsolya Szaplonczay (Innoskart DIH) presenting the results of the DIH_Challenger project.

Feedback

The agri-food sector is under great pressure due to the high energy prices and labour shortage. The presented solutions would enable companies to increase their competitiveness in this very difficult environment.

Resource efficiency is one of the top priorities in the agri-food sector. The new type of service like the presented would be beneficial to the sector as it is more cost effective than the precision agriculture methods.

SmartGeoFish farm demonstration event

Objectives of the farm demonstration

The SmartGeoFish Farm demonstration aimed to demonstrate the implemented sensory based IoT system which was the core of the technology concept development service of the project. With the demonstration, we targeted to prove that the developed service is viable and flexible enough to intro-duce to other sectors. The farm demonstration was held at the premise of Geofish Ltd. 
The target sectors were Food companies including aquaculture companies; representatives of Research and Higher Education organizations; Hungarian policy makers, DIHs, Clusters.

Summary

At the beginning of the demonstration Dániel Bakó (Geofish Ltd) welcomed the participants and explained the mission of Geofish Ltd. After that, the concept and objective of SmartGeoFish project was presented by Zsófia Kertész (Campden BRI Hungary as DIH).
Then Dr Dénes Gál introduced the operation of Geofish Ltd. After getting familiar with the RAS in general, the field walk and demonstration started. The feeding regime and the operation of biofilter were presented. The platform to operate the factory was showcased along with the water quality system in place to monitor the crucial components of the water impacting the quality of fish.

Feedback

The presented solution was very rated as very useful and informative. The concept of the project was welcome by the attending policy makers. The presented solutions and the develop services are beneficial and easily adaptable to other business sectors.
Overall, the farm demonstration was a success. An online coaching session was organized to the project partners on the delivery of a farm demonstration and a manual was developed to establish clearly the goals of the event and the responsibilities as well. 
Majority of the registered participants attended to the event and due to the informal format of the event, each participant contributed to the event. 
 

A demonstráció célja

A Geofish Kft. telephelyén megtartott SmartGeoFish farm bemutató célja a megvalósított szenzoros IoT rendszer bemutatása volt, amely a projekt technológiai koncepció fejlesztési szolgáltatásának magját képezi. A demonstrációval azt kívántuk bebizonyítani, hogy a kifejlesztett szolgáltatás életképes és kellően rugalmas más üzleti ágazatokban számára is. 
A tanyabemutatót a Geofish Kft. telephelyén tartották. A célszektorok az élelmiszeripari vállalatok voltak, beleértve az akvakultúra-vállalatokat; kutatási és felsőoktatási szervezetek képviselői; Magyar politikai döntéshozók, DIH-k, Klaszterek.
