Seacon’s projects at the AgriPlanta
Seacon's projects were presented at the exhibition AgriPlanta-RomAgroTec
This year the AgriPlanta-RomAgroTec was held from May 23-26 at the Fundulea, Romania. It was established in the field, on a 36 ha surface. The exhibition had a focus on field exhibition, trial Plots and demonstrations with agriculture machinery. Farmers found here new technologies, successful models of using agriculture machinery, inputs and solutions presented by companies exhibiting.
In the last years the AgriPlanta-RomAgroTec has become a networking and communication platform between farmers and specialists. Also, public institutions, associations and academic environment joined to the event every year.
Our Romanian partners presented here our common projects developed for smart agriculture.

Risk factors of picture galleries
Protection of paintings against environmental effects
The common Galerion project of Seacon Europe and the Köfém Education and Community Center is nearing its end.
During the implementation, the partners created a monitoring solution tailored to the institution for the continuous measurement and control of temperature, relative humidity and light conditions. Sensor based measurements were used to classify the interior environment and establish risk factors for the paintings. In this way, they were able to evaluate the exhibition spaces from the point of view of the artefacts.
We can already say that the project was useful, as we were able to better map the conditions typical of the building. We selected four rooms with different characteristics, in which, in addition to the measurements, we collected a lot of information about the way of use.
As a result our colleagues became even more aware of how necessary and important small attentions are even in everyday life: lighting should only be used in justified cases and to an extent, and the temperature should not be kept higher than really necessary during the heating season. With these, we can greatly contribute to the preservation of paintings.
The Galerion project was implemented in the framework program of the international cluster CREATHRIV-EU, co-funded by the European Union’s Single Market Program.
Seacon’s innovation in the RESIST program
Seacon's Innovation Project application for the RESIST Open call has been successful
Seacon’s Vitimobility project was awarded for funding in the RESIST Open call
The international consortium will realize a situation-dependent data collection and changeable measurement techniques in viticulture by applying mobility for more sustainable production and more efficient use of resources. The project, they try to offer an innovative solution in the field of precision agriculture in order to obtain and have a good organic product, in their case a better quality of grapes and wine.
The objective of the RESIST call is to provide financial support to European SMEs, start-ups and/or mid-cap companies working in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem (MTA), so they can develop more sustainable production tools leading to economic success and resilience improvement in the face of future market changes and crisis.
